Health

The importance of good health care can be seen in the hopes of a people who are yearning for health. To become rich or to produce something in life, you have to have that ability. If you are sick, you are likely not to develop yourself in any way. Therefore health is wealth and this is the biggest lesson that we can learn today. When you are in good health, you will be a happy person and enthusiastic about the business of life. Sickly people will dread every moment of their pain and, they are not able to have joy and peace.

Good health allows you to perform the tasks necessary and desirable to your daily life. Work, family, home and pastimes can be enjoyed and conducted without pain or interruption.

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Health is the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit;especially : freedom from physical disease or pain

Examining the topic “Health” we come across such terms as illness and disease. But are these terms the same. Illness and disease both cause the same feelings of discomfort, pain or unease in people. However, in more generalized terms, we can define an illness as a state where the person has feelings of pain or discomfort that does not have an identifiable reason. A disease refers to a condition where the body or the parts of the body of a person does not work properly. There is usually a pathological reason behind the condition. There is also such term as minor ailment which means a condition which is self-limiting and does not prevent the patient from carrying out their normal functions for more than a short period of time. (slight but often persistent illness)

Contagious diseases:

Meningitis - Viral or bacterial infection that causes inflammation of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord.

Hepatitis - Inflammation of the liver, which can be caused by an infection from parasites, bacteria, or viruses.

•Chickenpox (Varicella)

•Cholera

Chronic diseases

Serious chronic illnesses are a major health issue in modern society. Any illness is called "chronic" if it is long-lasting or even lifelong. The opposite of chronic is "acute", referring to diseases that come on quickly and often do not last long (if they last, they are said to become "chronic").

The list of types of Chronic Illness mentioned in various sources includes:

•Heart disease

•Diabetes

•Cardiovascular Disease

•Cerebrovascular disease

•Hypertension

•Kidney disease

•Liver disease

•Alzheimer's Disease

•Arthritis

•Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease

•Epilepsy

•Hereditary Hemochromatosis

•Iron Overload

•Oral Diseases

•Osteoporosis

•Asthma

There are also fatal diseases. The most spread among them are heart attack, cancer, lung diseases. But it is necessary to say to my mind that any disease or illness or minor ailment can lead to fatal outcome without timely medical care.

Each disease is accompanied by pain. But the pain as the disease has its own variety.

Ache is a dull, steady pain. Ache is used to refer to a duller kind of discomfort that may continue for longer than a pain might. Hurt is a little bit different to the others in that it is commonly used as a verb and an adjective. Hurt is probably most similar to ache and it can also mean the same as injure or injured. The key difference between hurt and pain and ache is that usually if you are hurt, it means the discomfort you experience is clearly caused by something outside of yourself.

Speaking about medcine (Medicine) is any drug or remedy for use in treating, preventing, or alleviating the symptoms of disease or (Medicine)is  the science of preventing, diagnosing, alleviating, or curing disease. Nowadays a lot of people prefer  alternative medicine.

The term 'alternative medicine' is generally used to describe practices used independently or in place of conventional medicine.Term 'complementary medicine' is primarily used to describe practices used in conjunction with or to complement conventional medical treatments.-

One kind of alternative medicine is herbal medicine.

Herbal medicine refers to using a plant's seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. Herbalism has a long tradition of use outside of conventional medicine.

Nowadays there are a lot of significant medical developments which made history.

They are anesthesia, asepsis, vaccination, penicillin, X-rays, insulin, microscopes, contraception, organ transplantation, keyhole surgery. I’d like to into detail on such medical development as insulin, which help people with diabetes.

"If you have health, you probably will be happy, and if you have health and happiness, you have all wealth of life you need, even if its need all you want". I think, that the above quote is very much true, until and unless we are not healthy from inside we are not happy. Even, if we earn a lot of money but there is no happiness. Being healthy doesn't just mean physical health of a person; it covers both aspects of any human i.e. PHYSICAL health as well as MENTAL health. Both form of health have its own causes and cure and both are very much dependent on each other or we can say one can be the cause of other and at the very same time one is the cure for the other. Hence it is advisable to everyone that we must keep ourselves healthy. While we may not be able to control all that happens to us, but we can control what happens inside us.
